SIRIUS Traffic provides real-time information on accidents, traffic flow, construction, and road closures for only $3.99/month, when added to your existing SIRIUS Satellite Radio subscription.

SIRIUS Traffic provides traffic data to vehicles over our nationwide satellite radio network. This includes updated traffic information on accidents, scheduled road closings, traffic flow and other traffic-related incidents. Since the service is integrated with a vehicle's navigation system, SIRIUS Traffic can help drivers pick the fastest route based on real-time traffic conditions.

SIRIUS Traffic service covers the primary freeways and interstates in the most populated metropolitan areas in the continental United States. In select markets, additional local information is also available.

Aftermarket navigation systems that are compatible with SIRIUS Traffic are available from Alpine and Eclipse.

The Alpine system requires the SIRIUS SIR-ALP10T SIRIUS Satellite Radio plus traffic tuner and the Alpine NVE-N872A navigation system with a monitor. The SIR-ALP10T is distributed through Directed Electronics. The NVE-N872A is available through Authorized Alpine Dealers nationwide.

The Eclipse system requires the SIRIUS SIR-ECL2nt and the Eclipse AVN6610 Audio, Video Navigation system. Both items are available through authorized Eclipse dealers
