Superstar pianist Lang Lang co-hosts SIRIUS XM Pops
Every day beginning 11/9 through 11/13 at 6 - 7pm ET
To call Lang Lang an international sensation is something of an understatement. Born in China, the 27-year old has played with virtually every major orchestra worldwide, for numerous heads of state, and may perhaps be best known for his performance in front of the estimated 5 billion people who watched the 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremonies in Beijing. He’s joined us on satellite radio a few times over the years, and he’s agreed to drop in on Paul Bachmann’s daily Pops show to try his hand at co-hosting. Tune in all week to hear Lang Lang’s life story, information on how he helps kids through his foundation, his book (newly in paperback), his latest album featuring chamber music by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, and much more.
