Maggie Linton
Maggie has been in broadcasting for over 35 years. A Kansas native, she started in radio at the University of Kansas as a sports anchor. In the mid-'70s she moved to TV and became the first female sports anchor in Wichita, KS; St. Louis, MO; and Washington, DC. She has hosted talk shows on radio and TV; appeared as a Squad Room Secretary in the final three seasons of Homicide: Life on the Street; hosted Star Finder, a 30-part internationally syndicated series on the Hubble Space Telescope; and had bit parts in the feature films Hairspray and Guarding Tess.
As part of the original XM staff, Maggie was a Sports Anchor/Producer for the USA Today News Channel covering all sports. Later she became a producer for MLB Home Plate, was a co-host/producer on numerous specials, a traffic and weather Reporter, and is presently the Program Director for Book Radio.
As someone who grew up listening to and loving radio and reading, Maggie wants listeners to feel like they are with a friend when they tune in to Book Radio.

Kim Alexander
Kim Alexander spent her childhood in the science fiction section of the Oceanside, Long Island public library, and her teen years looking for something to read in Fort Lauderdale (hence the lack of tan.) She spent 8 years working as a DJ in Key West until rock-fever struck and she trekked north to Washington DC, trailed by her massive shoe collection, two cats, and a whole lot of boxes of books.
After a stint as a traffic reporter and DJ on WBIG FM she was lucky enough to get on board at XM Radio. She could be heard reporting the traffic, hosting her own author interview show (at last!) called Fiction Nation, and eventually taking over as host of This Is Audible.
Since she’d almost always rather be reading, she feels incredibly lucky to be talking about books full time on Book Radio.
