Steve Byk
Racing writer and play-by-play broadcaster Steve Byk has been an avid race fan for more than 20 years. He has attended more than three dozen Triple Crown races and numerous Breeders' Cups. Byk has visited more than 30 different racetracks across North America. He launched DerbyTrail.com in 2003, where his feature writing, prep previews and editorial columns have attracted a large following. Byk is well known at Saratoga as chef-host of the Carolina Barbecue Co. Cafe on the Race Course's grounds, and his varied experiences and industry contacts provide him with a unique perspective on racing.

Bill Finley
Bill Finley is an award-winning horse racing writer who has covered the New York and national racing scene since 1986. Finley has been a staff writer for the Daily Racing Form, New York Post and New York Daily News and has made several appearances on ESPN horse racing telecasts. He currently writes regularly for the New York Times and for ESPN.com. More than a journalist, he is a passionate fan who cares about the sport, and especially the $2 bettors who make racing tick.
