Suzy Armstrong NASCAR Host Suzy Q Armstrong
“Suzy Q” has been involved in the motorsports industry for over twenty years, starting at Oregon’s Portland Speedway where she served as Track Announcer and Public Relations Director for over a decade. The former actress and voice talent also worked as an announcer and live event radio/public address producer for numerous NASCAR, Champ Car, IMSA, and historic racing events. Armstrong joined MRN Radio in 2000 as a pit reporter for the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, then began functioning as an Assistant Producer for NASCAR Live with Eli Gold, before hitting the airwaves with her “Hot Lap” on NASCAR USA. Armstrong has been working and laughing with Dave “The Godfather” Moody on SIRIUS Speedway since 2003.

Mike Bagley Mike Bagley
Mike "The Bagman" Bagley has been covering NASCAR racing since 1992. After starting out as a "runner" for MRN Radio while he was still in high school, Mike called his first race in June 1992. He is a seasoned booth, turn, and pit reporter, having covered NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Craftsman Truck Series racing for MRN for the last 15 years. Bagley joined David Poole as co-host of The Morning Drive in January 2008.

Buddy Baker Buddy Baker
Buddy "Leadfoot" Baker was known for his record-setting speed during his 34-year Winston Cup career. The son of racing legend Buck Baker, Buddy was the first driver to win racing's "Big Four": Daytona, Talladega, Darlington and Charlotte. Buddy won 19 times on the NASCAR circuit and ranks ninth on NASCAR's all-time list for top-five finishes with 202 and top-10 finishes with 311. This extraordinary career culminated with Buddy's induction into the Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway Court of Legends in 1995 and the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1997.

Rick Benjamin Rick Benjamin
Seasoned broadcaster Rick Benjamin began covering motorsports in the 1980s. He calls the on-track action of the Champ Car World Series, the Champ Car Atlantics, the USAR Hooters Pro Cup stock cars, and the World of Outlaws Late Model stock cars. Rick also has hosted NASCAR Cup events for TBS and called road racing events for ESPN. He made his feature film debut in 2006, when he had a small speaking role as a television broadcaster in the Will Ferrell comedy "Talladega Nights."

Jerry Bonkowski Jerry Bonkowski
Yahoo! Sports National NASCAR Columnist Jerry Bonkowski is an award-winning writer who has covered NASCAR and other motorsports for over 20 years, and has been an overall sports journalist for nearly 35 years.

Jerry's career has included lengthy stops at USA Today, ESPN.com and he's closing in on his third year as Yahoo! Sports' lead NASCAR expert. He has been a regular contributor to SIRIUS Sports for the last five years and is excited to be an integral part of SIRIUS’ new NASCAR coverage.

Jerry is a graduate of Ohio University's noted Master's Degree in Sports Administration/Communications program. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism/Broadcast Communications from Columbia College in Chicago.


Ray Evernham Ray Evernham
Ray Evernham's passion for automobiles has taken him from mechanic, to driver, to team manager, to crew chief, to team owner.

Early in his career, at Roger Penske's request, Evernham helped resurrect the International Race of Champions (IROC) Series. As team manager, Evernham worked with top racers including Rutherford, Foyt, Fittipaldi, Waltrip and Elliott. Evernham's success caught the attention of owner Rick Hendrick, who matched up-and-coming driver Jeff Gordon with Evernham as crew chief. The two earned three championships and 47 wins, including two Daytona 500 victories and the inaugural Brickyard 400.


Randy LaJoie
Randy LaJoie began racing go-karts at the age of 12 before graduating to cars at the Danbury Fair Racearena. He soon won the Modified Sportsman Division series championship after an incredible 13 victories. LaJoie then moved up to the Busch North Series, taking rookie of the year honors in 1983. Two seasons later, he claimed the series championship with 14 victories. In 1994, he became a full-time Busch Series regular. LaJoie teamed up with BACE Motorsports in 1996 and garnered five wins en route to the Busch Series title. Lajoie repeated as champion in 1997, one of only 3 drivers to attain this feat. He was also the first Busch Series driver to win $1 million in a single season.

Dave Moody Dave Moody
Dave Moody began his racing career as a short-track public address announcer in his native Vermont in 1979, under the guidance of his mentor, motorsports pioneer Ken Squier. Since then, Dave has announced at nearly 100 speedways in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He made his national debut with MRN Radio in 1988, and has been a full-time member of the team since 1993, serving as lead turn announcer and pre-race host for the network’s NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Craftsman Truck Series race broadcasts. A multi-time NMPA and Associated Press award-winner, “The Godfather” has hosted SIRIUS Speedway since its debut in November of 2003.

Chocolate Myers Chocolate Myers
Danny "Chocolate" Myers is one of the most popular crew members in the history of stock car racing. Myers, also known as "Gasman Choc" was the famed gas man for the #3 GM Goodwrench Chevy driven by the late Dale Earnhardt. Myers was employed at Richard Childress Racing for 19 years before retiring at the end of the 2002 season. Myers has been a color commentator on the ESPN networks, has appeared in numerous television advertisements and has been on the big screen with roles in the "Smokey and the Bandit" series.

Mojo Nixon Mojo Nixon
Best known for his song “Elvis is Everywhere,” Mojo has been a racing fan since he was a boy growing up in Danville, VA, after his father took him to see NASCAR icon Richard Petty at the old Orange County Speedway outside Hillsborough, NC. Mojo describes his show on SIRIUS NASCAR Radio, Manifold Destiny, as “the radio version of the infield at Talladega. Just a bunch of fans hanging around a BBQ pit arguing about NASCAR drivers, teams, tracks, manufacturers, having a lot of fun and a few cold ones.” Nixon also hosts The Loon in the Afternoon on SIRIUS Outlaw Country, Ch. 63 and Mojo Nixon’s Political Talk Show, Fridays on SIRIUS Stars, Ch. 102.

Pat Patterson Pat Patterson
Pat Patterson, better known as "The Racing Guy," has been involved with motor sports for more than a quarter of a century. Pat has been everywhere from the driver’s seat to public address announcing at a small track in Colorado to hosting and producing major television shows, such as RaceDay and On Pit Road. Pat can be heard on Saturdays and Sundays when he hosts The Front Stretch and on Mondays on Happy Hour.

Pete Pistone Pete Pistone
Pete Pistone is the Managing Editor of RacingOne.com and the national motorsports reporter for CBS Sports.com. Pete's been involved in the sport his entire life following in the footsteps of his uncle "Tiger" Tom Pistone, a NASCAR driver in the 1950s and 1960s. Pete has also been the motorsports reporter for The Chicago Sun-Times and hosted a popular weekly racing television program on Chicagoland Television (CLTV) for six years. He is an on-air sports and racing reporter for Chicago's WGN Radio and a regular contributor and host on SIRIUS NASCAR Radio.

Steve Post Steve Post
Steve Post is the host of "NASCAR Performance Live," a nationally-syndicated radio program. Post became a well-known pit reporter when he joined MRN Radio in 2003. He started his announcing career by covering short track races at Penn Can Speedway in Pennsylvania. He also handled media relations for the speedway and served as the editor of the speedway's program book. Post moved to North Carolina in 1995, to pursue a full-time career in motor sports. Over the next eight seasons he worked as media relations manager for Square D Company, IWX Motor Freight and Havoline.
