Gina has always wanted to be a DJ. "When I was three, I learned how to operate our record player. It was pretty much a wrap at that point! I've been in radio for a while now, and I've never had a bad experience. I've loved it from the first time I cracked a mic." Which is obvious to anyone who has listened to her on the air!

It was evident that Meta Washington was a music lover from an early age, preferring to spend her fun time in record stores and quizzing the workers on each artist. Today, she combines that love of music with her love of God. Meta holds a B.A. in Mass Communications and is an active member of the bible study department at her home church where she is also a member of the mass choir.

“Music strikes a chord in me,” Fred says. It’s the driving force in his multi-faceted career in the broadcasting and music industry. Fred’s love of music initially paved an entry onto the airwaves. “As far back as I can recall, I’d listen to stations even when their signals filled with static faded and was barely audible. I grew up appreciating various genres of music, it was always in my surroundings, and the sounds and people on the radio intrigued me.” He decided that being “the maestro” who brings the music together and communicating it to people was what he wanted to do. “Here at Sirius XM, I have the great opportunity to communicate to a massive diverse audience.” Fred is also a published writer, whose leisure pastimes include: photography, art, reading, and football. The ability to inspire people with words and song, to empower them in converting dreams into reality is what he endeavors most.
