wonder twinz The Wonder Twinz | email
Weekdays 6 am – Noon ET

The Wonder TwinZ have been around for a long time adding their style to the world of Hip-Hop. These guys have toured the U.S. and DJed at hundreds of Universities. "We've been blessed with the opportunity to travel and see Hip-Hop all around the world." For the past 2 years they have been touring with the classic HipHop group Naughty By Nature. The TwinZ hold it down on stage as their tour DJs at every show. They've rocked packed crowds from 150 to 1,500 to 15,000 screaming fans in Moscow, Australia, Tokyo, Amsterdam, London, New Zealand, Indonesia and of course New York City. You can catch them every morning on The Heat, talkin' junk and crackin' jokes and giving you a reason to get out of bed.

Dion Dion | email
Weekdays Noon – 6 pm ET

A radio veteran for over 15 years, Dion Summers’ knowledge of and passion for hip-hop and R&B has taken all over the country to work at various radio stations. Now he brings this drive to The Heat, setting America on fire as program director.

Chris Styles Styles | email
6 pm - 9 pm ET Weeknights

A graduate of American University, Styles has spent his whole life in the "DMV" (DC, MD, & VA). "I love to travel but there ain't nuthin like a long hair thick red bone from PG County," says Styles. Styles has been a DC Sports Ambassador. He has spent time as the "Hype Man" for the Washington Wizards and Mystics, hosted Tailgate events for the Washington Redskins, and DJed "Ladies Nights" for the Washington Nationals and DC United soccer team. "If only our DC teams were better, I'd have a championship ring by now," says Styles. When Styles is not in the studio or DJ booth, he can be found watching his favorite show of all time on DVD, "Martin." "I said Jerome's in the house, WATCH YOUR MOUTH!!!"

Daysha Parker Déjà vu | email
Weeknights 9 pm – 3 am ET

Even when she was in elementary school, Déjà Vu wanted to be a DJ. "That was when my parents bought me my first tape recorder. This may sound vain, but I loved the sound of my own voice! Plus, I've always loved to listen to music." There was at least one other moment where she knew a showbiz gig might be cool: "I went to see a concert featuring Patti Labelle, she really threw down at this show! She had men from the audience massaging her feet as she sang. Talk about feminine power!" Déjà Vu may not sing like Patti, but we love the sound of her voice anyway, and we’re glad to bring it to you on The Heat.

DJ Hollywood Hollywood | email
Weekends

DJ Hollywood doesn't think that there's any such thing as a "perfect song," but some songs - like 50 Cent's "In Da Club" - have perfect timing. "It came right when the weather got warmer, and people were ready for a club banger." Hollywood is happy to be playing those bangers for you: back in the day, he used to work for UPS loading and unloading trucks. "I had to be there every day at 4 am," he recalls, adding that "It sucked." Plus, he had to wear the brown uniform every day. At The Heat, our "uniform" is strictly hip-hop and R&B, and the hours and the music is better.

R&B Hits blaze on The Heat! This is the music burnin' up the charts or soon to become the next household name.
