Charlie Monk Charlie Monk | email
Weekdays 6 am – Noon ET

Charlie Monk is a legend in his spare time. He's appeared in movies, TV shows, commercials and of course, SIRIUS radio. He's called "The Mayor Of Music Row" because he knows everybody in Nashville and worked in every facet of the country music biz... he's been a songwriter, record producer, talent manager, music publisher and the bragging goes on... Throw in grandfather and he's a tired senior citizen... but he takes a shot of Geritol every morning and brightens the lives of many listeners as he regales the world with the stories about all the celebrities he knows. (Not that we've not been able to ascertain if any celebrities admit to knowing him!)

Wade Jessen Wade Jessen | email
Weekdays 2 - 8 pm ET

Wade Jessen is a self-described “country music nerd,” a title he wears as a badge of honor. He should, as he's been in the country music and radio business for almost 30 years. Now, SIRIUS listeners all over get to benefit from hearing this walking encyclopedia of musical history. When he’s not locked up in his den listening to classic country and caressing his record collection, Wade’s interests include antique radios, phonographs, furniture and china. He also loves good wine and cooking for family and friends. Originally from northeastern Utah, he’s lived in Nashville for the past 20 years.

Kyle Cantrell Kyle Cantrell | email
Saturdays 10 am - 2 pm ET

Kyle Cantrell was born just outside of Nashville, Tennessee, where he grew up listening to the sounds of Noontime Neighbors and the Grand Ole Opry on his grandmother's tube-filled radio. After studying broadcasting and the recording industry at the University of Tennessee and Middle Tennessee State, Cantrell landed his first radio job in the summer of 1980 at Murfreesboro's WMTS. By 1982, he had joined the staff of WSM, and in 1985 he took his place on stage as an announcer of the Grand Ole Opry. Cantrell's other broadcasting credentials are equally impressive. At WSM he produced numerous shows and features built around country music's rich history. His extensive knowledge of the genre has led him to be used as an on-camera expert on numerous network television shows, such as A&E's Biography and TNN/CMT's Life and Times.

Corey Duke Corey Duke | email
Saturdays 6 pm – Midnight ET

Often described as a lazy good for nothing slug (at least by his wife), Corey has been playing country music over the radio at some of the biggest country stations in America for more than 15 years. "It’s very cool, now that I’m nationwide on SIRIUS, cause a lot of people call from the towns I used to work in – to just say 'hey.'" Corey admits he would rather be fishing with his kids – but until he can figure out a way to make "that big DJ money" from the bow of a bass boat…he’ll be right here.

Joyce Rizer Joyce Rizer | email
Sundays 8 am - Noon ET

While growing up in the Central Illinois cornfields, Joyce was surrounded by the music from her parents' record collection, which was heavy on Tom T. Hall, Statler Brothers, and Loretta Lynn albums. As a broadcasting major at Illinois State University, she and her roommates would throw parties whenever Garth Brooks did a TV special. It was then that she first decided that someday she was going to move to Nashville and create programming that brought country music fans closer to the artists they loved.

Joyce has been the Executive Producer for Sirius XM's country operations in Nashville since May 2001, and she is responsible for writing and producing numerous long form programming features and specialty shows that air across the country neighborhood. Each Sunday morning you can find her in The Roadhouse, playing the classic country music she was raised on.

The Roadhouse is THE place for the classic sound of REAL country music, featuring timeless recordings from the country legends and Hall of Fame members from the mid-'60s to late '80s.
