Mike Terry Mike Terry | email
Weekdays 6 am - Noon

Mike grew up in Baltimore, dreaming of playing third base for the Orioles. And while that dream has yet to materialize he has had the good fortune of making a career of broadcasting. Mike has been on the radio in one form or another since he was 17, beginning as a volunteer at a university station in Baltimore, continuing professionally through five states and too many cities to list, branching out for brief stint as weekend TV weather forecaster and finally finding a home in Nashville in 2002. In addition to his work on SIRIUS XM Mike is an announcer at the world famous Grand Ole Opry and hosts the nationally syndicated program America’s Grand Ole Opry Weekend. The father of two girls, Mike enjoys his family time as well an occasional stroll along one of Tennessee’s many golf course fairways.

Corey Duke Corey Duke | email
Weekdays Noon – 6 pm ET

Often described as a lazy good for nothing slug (at least by his wife), Corey has been playing country music over the radio at some of the biggest country stations in America for more than 20 years. "It's very cool, now that I’m nationwide on SIRIUS XM, 'cause a lot of people call from the towns where I used to work – to just say 'hey.'" There's no doubt that playing records for a living is not hard work… still, Corey admits he would rather be fishing with his kids – but until he can figure out a way to make “that big DJ money” from the bow of a bass boat…he’ll be right here.

Joey Black Joey Black | email
Weekdays 6 pm - 12 am ET

Joey’s dad always made sure he had a healthy diet of Hank Sr., Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings growing up... but it wasn’t until Nirvana ruined the “Hair Metal” scene that the country bug really sunk its teeth in him and never let go. Joey says, "Let’s face it... Bon Jovi and all those hair bands just wanted to be country singers anyway… with their boots and songs like 'Wanted Dead or Alive.'" Being from North Jersey, Joey is always asked "Do you really like country music?" He loves it! If you look really close in the audience of the Garth Brooks Live in Central Park video, you may see him singing along louder than anyone else! As much as the music, Joey loves the Country Music Community... "We are like a great big family that takes care of one another… Country fans are the best, ain’t we?"

Charlie Monk Charlie Monk | email
Saturdays 6 pm – 8 pm ET

Dubbed the “Honorary Mayor Of Music Row,” Charlie Monk may know everyone working in Nashville’s music community. Outside of that community, Charlie may very well be Nashville’s most influential unknown. Whether entertaining America on his SIRIUS XM radio show, managing Monk Family Music or hosting a major music event, he is honest and frank in everything he does. It’s his unique personality, combined with more than 50 years’ experience in show business, that has made Charlie one of the most respected executives on Nashville’s Music Row. “I’m a talent scout, a nurturer, a developer and a song seller,” he says. “I think my instincts are good, and I believe I am the luckiest guy in Nashville because I’ve made a living doing what I enjoy.” And as an example of those strong instincts, Charlie signed such talented young songwriters like Kenny Chesney and Randy Travis to their first songwriting deals.

Kim Ashley Kim Ashley | email
Saturdays 6 am – Noon ET
Sundays 3 pm – 9 pm ET

It's been a long line of country music for Kim Ashley, who started her career as a country DJ in Venice, FL at WCTQ. Then onto WPCV in Lakeland, FL, followed by Y106 in Atlanta GA, WYNY in NYC, KPLX in Dallas TX, and finally, Prime Country on Sirius XM, where she's been for the past 5 years. "Country music has been one of the greatest joys of my life, because it's about OUR lives, and weaves a common thread between us that you can't find anywhere else. Of course, the beauty of Sirius XM is the opportunity to talk with the entire U.S. and Canada and share our love of the artists, their stories, and our stories as well." You can hear Kim weekends on Prime Country.

Jessica Wade Jessica Wade | email
Saturdays Noon – 6 pm ET

If you're reading this, then Jessica considers you her family. This music describes your lives, makes you think, and puts smiles on your faces when you're driving and you just need to crank it up LOUD. Maybe you're not from the tiny town of Lansing, New York, like she is. Maybe you didn't go to school from kindergarten through graduation with the same folks - or raise horses and dogs and chickens like she did – but the music ties you together. Jessica worked her way through Cornell undergrad and Fordham Law, and she's a mom now with twin boys. She adores Dierks Bentley and songwriter Shane Minor; and shares her music passion with her much older brother John, a record executive in Nashville, and her husband – a doctor with a thing for Shania.

Prime Country plays the biggest hits from the biggest country stars of the 90s, and early 00s. Take a walk down Musical Memory Lane!
