Amy Paige | email Weekdays 5 am – 10 am ET
Saturdays Noon – 6 pm ET
Sundays 6 am – Noon ET
Convincing Amy to “keep quiet” was quite a task for Mr. and Mrs. Paige. If she wasn’t singing, she was talking... to everyone and anyone who would listen. So, it makes complete sense that she would find a way to spend the rest of her life surrounded by music and talking to the people who love it as much as she does! Amy got her start in the early '90s as Lucky the Duck, a Long Island, NY station mascot. Once she ditched the duck suit and tried on a couple of different radio hats, she found her way on the air at a NY station where she would meet and marry her husband, David, a record rep who resided in Nashville, TN. A year after their son Teddy was born, they relocated to Nashville where they plan on living happily ever after! When she’s not spending time at home with her two favorite boys, you can find her stalking, we mean... staking out hot spots in Nashville prime for celebrity “star gazing."
Al Skop | email Weekdays 10 am – 4 pm ET
Saturdays 6pm – Midnight ET
Al’s first radio station was a Mr. Microphone set to broadcast to the entire Skop house. Let’s just say on SIRIUS XM Radio, he covers a bit more ground, but it never goes to his head. “Running into Brad Paisley and chatting with him one on one was like chatting with an old buddy, and we’d just met!” At one of the first country radio jobs that Al had, his office had previously been used by Patsy Cline to sing on the radio. Maybe it was the ghosts, but that’s where his deep passion for country music — both new and old — sunk in good. Plus, his wife thinks he’s “Crazy,” so we guess it all worked out nicely.
Storme Warren | email Weekdays 4 pm – 8 pm ET
Storme Warren began his radio career in Tulsa, Oklahoma at age 13. Though radio would continue to be Warren's passion throughout his career, in 1989 the world of Television forced Storme to put his first love on the back burner. After years working on TV at CNN and later TNN, Storme returned to radio in 2008, with the creation of the Sirius XM afternoon drive show "The Music Row Happy Hour" heard every weekday on The Highway.
Jessica Wade | email Weekdays 8 pm – 2 am ET
Sundays 1 pm – 6 pm ET
If you're reading this, then Jessica considers you her family. This music describes your lives, makes you think, and puts smiles on your faces when you're driving and you just need to crank it up LOUD. Maybe you're not from the tiny town of Lansing, New York, like she is. Maybe you didn't go to school from kindergarten through graduation with the same folks - or raise horses and dogs and chickens like she did – but the music ties you together. Jessica worked her way through Cornell undergrad and Fordham Law, and she's a mom now with twin boys. She adores Dierks Bentley and songwriter Shane Minor; and shares her music passion with her much older brother John, a record executive in Nashville, and her husband – a doctor with a thing for Shania.
Buzz Brainard Buzz Brainard hails from “The Great Lakes State” but ventured west to California where he co-hosted the morning show on KLZA Los Angeles. Buzz is also the voice of “Disney Channel” the host of “This Week In Baseball”, “Maximum Exposure” and a show called “Bucked” about bull riders of the PBR. Buzz got his love of country music from his dad’s pile of classic vinyl. “I would lay my head against the speakers of the old Zenith slide-top cabinet and listen to Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn and Roger Miller for hours at a time. Hey, maybe that accounts for the slight hearing loss on my right side”.
The Highway plays today's new country, along with the biggest hits of the past 3-4 years. You'll hear the newest songs from today's country superstars and Nashville's emerging artists, way before they're heard anywhere else!
