Lori Thompson Lori Thompson | email
Weekdays 7 am - 2 pm ET
Weekends 9 am - 3 pm ET

"One of my mother's first memories of me," Lori says, "Was me holding my Mr. Microphone and announcing the cars that drove by. As in, 'Red car is coming.' My life as a DJ has not stopped since but has gathered some meaning. I love the music we play on The Message. It changes, inspires, and gives hope when we need it most. There have been many moments in my own life where a song seemed like the only thing keeping me together (Steven Curtis Chapman's "God is God" comes to mind.) In my other meaning filled moments, I'm also the world's largest Seahawk fan (have pity on me!), mother of twins, adopter of three former racing greyhounds and wife of an amazing husband who puts up with all the noise."

Doug Hannah Doug Hannah | email
Weekdays 2 pm - 9 pm ET

Doug Hannah is proud to be on The Message each day, but his greatest source of pride is his great family. Married to Julie for over 20 years now, they have four kids ranging in age from elementary school to college. This often makes for interesting things that happen in his life that you hear about on the radio! Doug has been in Christian radio since 1983, with stops in Detroit, Chicago, Houston, Nashville and now nationwide on Sirius/XM! Doug comments, “People will forget what is spoken, but a great song and its message can be remembered for generations. That’s why I believe in the power of the music we play on ‘The Message’". Doug has been fortunate enough to interview all of the artists that you see next to "what we play" and hopes to talk to many more on The Message!

Tom Carter Tom Carter | email
Weekends 3 pm – 9 pm ET

Tom has known for a long time that he wanted to be a DJ. He remembers, "I was 14 when my parents bought me an alarm clock/radio. I listened to it all the time, and knew that I wanted to become a DJ. Also, I had seen a picture of a DJ on a local station in my small town. He was sitting back with his feet propped up on the counter while a song was playing. I thought, 'That's the kind of job I want!'" He says that his best experience on the radio (so far) was getting to interview Jars Of Clay and Amy Grant. We might even let him interview them again – but only if he stops putting his feet on the mixing board!

She continues to make time to volunteer with the homeless shelter and schools in her area. You can also hear Kayla on Octane and Classic Rewind.
