Per Håkan Gessle was born in Halmstad, Sweden, January 12 1959.
Thanks to big brother Bengt’s record collection, he quickly
became a devoted music fan who dreamed about fronting a pop group.

Sven Lindström
Sven Lindström has been working as a music journalist and columnist since the early 80’s. He has contributed to the Swedish National Encyclopedia, and in 2007 published his first book, an acclaimed authorised biography on Per Gessle of Roxette. He is an amateur three chord guitarist who runs his own communication company Telegraf and is based in Malmö, Sweden.
