It's been 20 year since James Hansen began his quest to convince Congress and the American people that man made global warming is here and threatens to kill us all in disastrous ways. This was just enough time for the American public (and more importantly the media) and forget about the previous fashionable climate crisis of global cooling from the 1970s, and this time opt for a crisis that can be blamed on the United States... it just better fits the liberal narrative that this nation sucks.

Hansen has been on the forefront of blaming mankind for this pseudo-crisis and is reliable in proposing legislation that would both cripple the American economy and put vast amounts of new power in the hands of the centralized government in D.C.
