| Eddy Arnold was a dear friend. I really got to know him about three years ago in 2005 when I had the privilege and honor to produce his 100th album called After All These Years. He turned 87 the day we finished his part of the project. He was a real gentleman; an honest, straightforward man, not at all starstruck. He wasn’t a diva at all. He liked to do ordinary things like go to a meat-and-three, usually every day for lunch.
