What is SIRIUS Backseat TV™?
SIRIUS Backseat TV™ is a dynamic and pioneering TV service that delivers live TV from the best family TV networks to the video screens of select vehicles equipped with a SIRIUS Backseat TV™ receiver. The SIRIUS Backseat TV™ receiver is the only receiver capable of receiving the SIRIUS Backseat TV™ service. In addition, all SIRIUS Backseat TV™ receivers can receive SIRIUS satellite radio service.
What will I be able to watch?
Three channels of family programming from the most popular and most trusted brands– Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and CARTOON NETWORK. Rear-seat passengers will be able to watch shows such as Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and Jimmy Neutron, Disney Channel’s Cory in the House and Hannah Montana, and CARTOON NETWORK's Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends™ and Chowder™. |

This factory-installed option will include the SIRIUS Backseat TV™ receiver and one year subscriptions to SIRIUS Backseat TV™ and SIRIUS Satellite Radio services.
How does it work?
SIRIUS Backseat TV™ operates via an in-vehicle satellite video receiver and two small roof-mounted antennas. For added flexibility, rear-seat passengers can enjoy SIRIUS Backseat TV™ while, at the same time, front-seat occupants can listen to SIRIUS Satellite Radio. The system can be operated from either the rear-seat entertainment unit or the radio head unit in the front-seat area.
How much will it cost?
For Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles, SIRIUS Backseat TV™ is available for a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $470 — which includes the first year of service — when packaged with Chrysler Group’s Rear Seat Entertainment System and SIRIUS Satellite Radio. After the first year, SIRIUS Backseat TV™ is available for $6.99 per month in addition to a SIRIUS Satellite Radio subscription ($12.95 per month), totaling $19.94 per month. SIRIUS Backseat TV™ will only be available to SIRIUS Satellite Radio subscribers. |

When can I get it? Where can I watch?
The SIRIUS SCV1 after-market version of the SIRIUS Backseat TV™ receiver is available through our retail partners today. The SCV1 system is designed to work with most aftermarket and factory installed radios and video monitors that have auxiliary inputs.
How does it work?
The SCV1 aftermarket product includes a child-friendly remote control to allow backseat passengers to easily change channels. The front-seat passengers can operate the SIRIUS Satellite Radio system with the included display controller and their own wireless remote control.
How much will it cost?
Pricing for the SCV1 after-market version of the SIRIUS Backseat TV™ is $299.99 MSRP and is available today. The SIRIUS Backseat TV™ service is available for $6.99 per month in addition to a SIRIUS Satellite Radio subscription ($12.95 per month), totaling $19.94 per month. SIRIUS Backseat TV™ will only be available to SIRIUS Satellite Radio subscribers. |
